Identity is not a label
Stable records carry authority. Names explain them.
An Edition label is human-readable presentation. The permanent Edition identity is the stable historical reference, and a physical garment unit is a separate identity linked to it.

The original retains a stable record. A later release gets another identity even when the visible design appears similar.

A label can explain original, later limited, or unlimited, but it cannot merge or replace authoritative records.

Published quantity
Limited supply has one declared ceiling.
The authoritative catalog and allocation systems—not this reference—must enforce quantity, capacity, holds, and unit relationships.

Edition Slot continuity
One slot can have history—but never two active authentic representatives.
An Edition Slot is one permanent position within an approved limited quantity. Replacement and retirement require controlled lineage rather than duplicated collector identity.
At most one physical unit carries the slot’s active authentic relationship.
Public presentation cannot establish or override that authoritative state.
Prior unit and secure-token relationships remain in protected history.
Retirement does not erase lineage or free an extra collector identity.
An approved replacement continues the same slot relationship.
It must not create another slot, another active representative, or a larger Edition.
Service reserve
Operational inventory is not extra public scarcity.
Reserve, quality-control, damaged, failed, held, and unreceived inventory require distinct authoritative states. They cannot be silently treated as sellable capacity or additional collector identities.
Only approved sellable capacity may be allocated.
Service reserve and unavailable inventory remain excluded unless an approved, auditable process changes operational state within the Edition ceiling.
A reserve unit does not mint another Edition Slot.
Service activity may preserve an existing slot’s continuity, but cannot increase quantity or duplicate its active authentic representative.
Append-only correction
Correct a factual error without silently rewriting history.
The current truth should become clear while the former value, reason, authority, and effective time remain in protected history.
State the corrected fact and material context where appropriate.
Release pages, archive records, search, and approved public projections should agree after propagation.
Preserve the former fact, authority, reason, and supporting evidence.
Append-only history does not publish private identities, disputes, fraud signals, legal advice, or internal case files.

A principle page is not a quantity certificate or unit record.
